You're not imagining it.

The rage, the 3 a.m. sweats, the missing words. Two minutes gets you an answer your doctor can't wave away.

Structured after the Menopause Rating Scale. Staged with STRAW+10.

Some people call it a perimenopause quiz, some call it a perimenopause test. Here it's the check, and it's free either way: no email, no account, nothing to unlock.

Free. No email, no account, no paywall on your own result.

2 minutes. Nineteen questions and your cycle pattern. That's the whole ask.

Private. Scoring runs on your phone. Your answers never leave it.

Sound familiar?

  • Her: I cancelled on everyone again. Third time this month.
  • Her friend: You ok?
  • Her: I'm not sad. That's the thing. I just don't want anything.
  • Her friend: The pottery class?
  • Her: Haven't been since March. I don't even miss it, and that's what scares me.
  • Her friend: How's your sleep?
  • Her: 3 a.m. Every night. Soaked.
  • Her: Then I screamed at the dishwasher over nothing.
  • Her: I lost the word for colander in front of my kid.
  • Her: I've been blaming my ADHD. Last week I googled early dementia.
  • Her friend: How old are you now?
  • Her: 43. My doctor said I'm too young for it to be that.
  • Her friend: You're not too young. You're right on time.

It might not be several different problems. It might be one. Nineteen symptoms, four domains, one number that puts it together.

Two minutes in, you'll know more than most appointments have time to tell you.

  • A score out of 100

Weighted across heat, mind, body and intimacy, then benchmarked against women your age, so “is this normal?” finally has a reference point.

“A high psychological score alongside hot flashes is the pattern most often mistaken for anxiety.”

  • Your likely stage

Read from your cycle pattern with STRAW+10, the same staging framework clinicians use. No blood test; hormone levels swing too much in peri to be reliable anyway.

  • A doctor summary

One printable page: every symptom rated, your cycle pattern, and what to say when you're told it's anxiety.

  • A share card

Because someone in your group chat is quietly googling the same symptoms.

Built to be handed to a doctor.

perigirlies is a screening tool, not a diagnosis; it says so on every page, in exactly those words. What it gives you is the thing appointments run out of time for: your last three months, organized and rated.

The instrument mirrors the Menopause Rating Scale. Staging follows STRAW+10. And if your answers raise a red flag (unusual bleeding, a clot history, periods stopping before 40), you're routed to in-person care, with nothing sold to you along the way.

Two women in their forties laughing together over a phone at a sunlit kitchen table.

We never see your answers.

“We take privacy seriously” is what every site says. Here it's literal: scoring runs on your phone, there's no server for your answers to go to, and the only thing this site counts is anonymous visits, on our own domain, with no cookies. Open your browser's network tab and watch: nothing that leaves carries your answers.

No account, no email. There's nowhere to type one.

No ad trackers. No pixels, no cookies, no third parties. An anonymous visit count on our own domain is the whole story.

Yours to keep. The summary saves to your device. We never have a copy.

Read the whole privacy page (it's short: there's no data to explain)

Made for the group chat.

The name isn't an accident. Peri girlies find each other: in comment sections, in DMs, in the group chat at 11:40 p.m. The share card sends your score, never your answers. She takes hers, you compare, and suddenly nobody’s “imagining things.”

Fair questions.

Is this a diagnosis?

No. It's a screening: your pattern, scored and staged, in language a clinician will recognize. Only a clinician who examines you can diagnose anything. The check exists to make that conversation faster and harder to dismiss.

What does it cost?

Nothing. No paywall, no email gate, no “unlock your full results.” How we keep the lights on: if you choose to see a care provider through our links, we may earn a commission. It never changes your price, and it can't change your score, which is computed on your phone before any of that exists.

I'm on birth control, or I've had an ablation or hysterectomy. Can I still take it?

Yes. Hormonal birth control and procedures mask cycle signals, so your staging is marked accordingly, but your symptoms still get scored, benchmarked, and summarized. Many women in exactly this situation have the least information; the check is built for you too.

I'm under 40. Is this for me?

Perimenopause usually starts in the 40s, but “usually” isn’t “always.” Take it, and know that if your periods have stopped before 40, the check will tell you to see a clinician in person rather than pointing you anywhere else. That's the right medicine, not a brush-off.

Will it tell me if I need hormones?

No: that's a prescription decision that belongs to you and a clinician. What it will do is show you which kind of care fits your pattern, ask the safety questions first, and hand you the summary that makes the appointment count.

Two minutes to a real answer.
