Using perigirlies.com means you agree to these terms. They exist to keep one thing unmistakable: this is an educational screening tool, and your health decisions belong to you and a clinician.

What perigirlies is
perigirlies ("we", "us") runs this website, its perimenopause check, and its Menopause Rating Scale interpreter. All of it is educational screening: it organizes what you report and shows you how that pattern compares with published reference points. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, and not a substitute for care.
No medical advice, no clinician relationship
Nothing on this site is medical advice, and using it does not create a clinician-patient relationship with anyone. A score is information about a pattern, never an instruction. Do not delay, ignore, or stop professional care because of anything here. If symptoms feel severe or sudden, see a clinician regardless of any score, and if you think you are having an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Who can use it
The check is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use this site, and the check itself stops at the age question for anyone younger.
Care options are other companies
After your result, the site can show care providers matched to your answers. Those providers are independent companies. When you visit one, you are on their site, under their terms and their privacy policy, and any care you receive comes from their clinicians, not from us. We do not provide, supervise, or guarantee their services. Some of those links are or may become affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you choose a provider through them. That never changes your price or your result, and the details live on our disclosures page.
What you agree not to do
Use the site lawfully and as intended. Do not misrepresent a perigirlies result as a diagnosis or as medical advice, yours or anyone else's. Do not republish the site or its instrument as a validated clinical tool, because it is not one. Do not attack or overload the site, and do not use it to build a service that misleads people about their health.
What is ours, and what is not
The site's design, copy, code, and scoring instrument belong to perigirlies. The Menopause Rating Scale is the copyright of ZEG Berlin; this site describes it and does not reproduce it. Your answers are yours alone, and we never receive them: scoring happens on your device, as our privacy page explains. The doctor summary you generate is yours to keep and share.
No warranties
The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Our instrument is structured after the Menopause Rating Scale but is not a validated clinical instrument in its own right, and the age-band benchmarks are seeded from published population norms rather than measured from our own users. A result can be wrong in either direction: a high score does not mean you have any condition, and a low score does not rule one out.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, perigirlies is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made or care received based on a screening result. The check is free, and our total liability for any claim connected to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it, which is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update the site and these terms. When the terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version. If we ever weakened the promises the product is built on, the pages that make those promises would have to change too, where you can see it.
The legal frame
These terms are governed by the law of the United States and, where state law applies, the law of the state in which the operator of perigirlies resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms and the pages they link to are the whole agreement between you and perigirlies about the site.
