The check is free, ungated, and stays that way. This page is the money conversation most sites bury in a tooltip, had out loud instead.

The one-sentence version
After your result, the site can show you care providers, and if you choose one through our links we may earn a commission from that provider or its affiliate network. That commission is the business model. There is no other one: no ads, no data sales, no premium tier.
Who the partners are
The care options currently shown are Hers, Winona, Inner Balance, Midi Health, and Talkspace. Some of these links are, or may become, affiliate links through networks such as Katalys, and the lineup will change as partnerships do. This page stays the authoritative list of how the money works, whoever appears in the cards.
What a commission never changes
Your price. You pay a provider the same whether you arrive through us or through a search engine. Your score. It is computed on your device before any care option exists on screen, and no code path lets a partner touch it. Your routing. Which providers you see is decided by your state, your age band, how you want to pay, your symptom pattern, and your safety answers. Nothing else weighs in. Nobody buys the top slot: the card marked best match is the output of those rules, not of a bid.
Where money is never involved
If your answers raise a safety flag, a cancer or clot history, unusual bleeding, possible pregnancy, active liver disease, or periods stopping before 40, the care path stops and you get a clinician finder and your doctor summary. There are no affiliate links on that path, ever. Sending someone with a red flag to in-person care is not a monetizable event, and it should never be one.
What partners learn about you
Nothing from us. Your answers and your score never leave your device, so there is nothing we could pass along even if we wanted to. An affiliate link may carry a click identifier so the network can tell the visit came from perigirlies; it says nothing about you or your answers. Once you are on a provider's site, their privacy policy governs what they collect themselves.
How you can tell which links pay
Care-provider links inside the check are marked sponsored in the page's code, and the screen that shows them says, right there, that we may earn a commission. Nothing elsewhere on the site, the quiz itself, the Menopause Rating Scale page, or these legal pages, earns us anything.
Why we tell you all this
Partly because honesty is the brand, and partly because it is the law: the Federal Trade Commission requires sites to disclose material connections to companies they link to. We think the FTC is right. If anything on this page stops being true, we rewrite the page.
